2. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all orders and agreements between Loire design and its customers. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these conditions. We reserve the right to change these conditions. The changed conditions apply from the moment they are published on our website.

3. Product information and Prices

All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT and exclusive of shipping costs. We do our best to provide correct product descriptions, but small color or material tolerances are possible. Prices and offers are subject to change without prior notice, except for orders already placed.

4. Ordering and Payment

  • Orders can be placed via our webshop.
  • Payment can be made via multiple payment methods.
  • An order is only final after receipt of payment and a confirmation email from us.

5. Delivery and Delivery Times

  • The estimated delivery time will be given after the order. The delivery time can increase because almost all items are custom made.
  • Deliveries will be made to the address specified by the customer.
  • If delivery to a floor is desired, the customer must report this in advance. We can arrange a moving lift for an additional fee.
  • Damage during transport must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Right of withdrawal and return policy

Standard products

  • Customers have the right to return a standard product within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason (art. VI.47 WER).
  • The product must be returned undamaged, unused and in its original packaging . If the product is damaged or incomplete, we reserve the right to apply a reduction in value.
  • The product description states whether the product is custom-made or standard.
  • Return costs are at the customer's expense , unless the product was delivered defective.

Custom products

  • Since custom-made products are manufactured specifically according to the customer's specifications, there is no right of withdrawal (Art. VI.53, 3° WER).
  • Cancellation of a custom order is only possible before the start of production. Maximum 24 hours after the order confirmation.
  • The product description states whether the product is custom-made or standard.

7. Warranty and Complaints Procedure

  • All standard products have a statutory 2-year warranty against manufacturing errors and defects.
  • The warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, misuse or external damage factors.
  • Complaints should be submitted by email with a clear description and photos of the problem. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

8. Liability

  • We are not liable for any damage resulting from incorrect use of our products.
  • In the event of force majeure (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, pandemics) we are not obliged to fulfil our obligations.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • We process personal data in accordance with GDPR legislation.
  • Data will only be used for order processing and customer service and will not be sold to third parties.

10. Applicable Law and Disputes

  • These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.
  • Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in Belgium.

Delivery and custom delivery

Standard delivery : Our standard delivery includes transport to the front door at the specified delivery address. Delivery will take place within the agreed period and will be communicated to you in advance.

Personal Delivery by Appointment : For exclusive and custom orders, we can arrange a personal delivery by appointment in consultation, so that your furniture is delivered at exactly the right time and according to your wishes.

Once your custom furniture arrives at our warehouse, we will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment at a time that suits you best.

Costs and risks of returns

The costs and risk of returns are entirely borne by the
counterparty, also in the case of return based on revocation (see article 6).
In the event of a valid return, we are only obligated to credit or exchange the item once the returned product has been received and inspected.
